Test Criteria
Based on measurements with the Hohenstein skin model according to DIN EN ISO 11092, material-specific water vapor resistance (breathability) is tested along with water vapor absorption and desorption. The measured values are classified using an evaluation system to characterize the thermo-physiological properties of the mattress.
The overall assessment of the values can be rated as ‘very good’, ‘good’ and ‘unsatisfactory’.
